
Overview:
This position is responsible for overseeing the complete employee lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and retention—while also handling compliance, benefits administration, and weekly scheduling. They’ll work closely with department heads to align HR initiatives with business objectives and serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on workforce planning and organizational development.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Steward and communicate Plum Creek Farm’s mission and vision in accordance with the Plum Creek Playbook
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company goals
Maintain HR information systems and personnel records
Administer compensation, benefits, and payroll programs
Manage full-cycle recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and retention initiatives
Create and maintain weekly employee schedules across departments
Coordinate scheduling adjustments for time-off requests and staff coverage
Handle employee relations and assist leadership with conflict resolution
Support performance management
Lead training and development programs
Partner with leadership on organizational development initiatives
