The Admissions Associate, under the guidance and direction of the Assistant Director, will participate and assist in all stages and aspects of items related to admissions and events. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform a vital role in carrying out the gospel mission of the Church by demonstrating personal modeling of the Christian faith and acting as a messenger and teacher of the gospel in all aspects of life. Handle all items related to FACTS – SIS Admissions in coordination with the Assistant Director. Oversee the application and withdrawal process including the creation and distribution of necessary documents and FACTS Family Portal setup Assist the Assistant Director in the assimilation of new families. Conduct school tours as needed. Oversee the student withdrawal process in coordination with the Tuition and Billing Coordinator. Maintain cumulative files on all students. Assist with Preschool events. Additional duties as assigned or determined necessary by the Assistant Director. Utilizes appropriate methods, such as email and FACTS, to communicate with the SFCA constituency. Participates in devotions, planning, and staff development as required. Maintains a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. Utilizes educational opportunities and evaluation processes for professional growth. Follows established school policies, procedures and guidelines in a spirit of positive cooperation. Promotes positive relationships between the school and the community. Meets everyday stresses with emotional stability, objectivity and optimism. Exercises friendliness and consideration, treating each student, parent and staff member impartially. Follows safety and security procedures. Utilizes educational opportunities and evaluation processes for professional growth. Adheres to the policies set forth in the MBC/SFCA Preschool Associate Handbooks, Student Handbooks, the Teacher Contract and Code of Ethics. Supports and abides by the MBC and SFCA Preschool Handbooks. Maintains a professional appearance that is a Christian role model of cleanliness, modesty, good taste, and in agreement with school policy. Respectfully submits and demonstrates loyalty to constituted authority. Shall notify the administration of any policy he/she is unable to support. Performs any other duties which may be assigned by the administration. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES No supervisory responsibilities. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Requires a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. OFFICE SKILLS AND EQUIPMENT Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, and Publisher is required as is the ability to learn and navigate multiple technology & software platforms. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, write, speak, and respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints. Must demonstrate excellent communication skills to verbalize policies and procedures. Projects an outstanding public image at community activities and events. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to prepare and understand budgets. REASONING ABILITY Ability to interpret complex instructions furnished in written and verbal form. Ability to perform multiple tasks and possess good organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Employees who drive for company business must have a current, valid driver’s license at all times. All employees who drive their personal vehicles for church/company business must maintain a minimum insurance coverage of $100,000/$300,000 bodily injury and $100,000 property damage. Employees are also strongly encouraged to carry uninsured motorist coverage with limits of at least $50,000 to protect against losses caused by uninsured or underinsured drivers. Proof of insurance coverage for business-related purposes should be placed on file in the Human Resources Office.
