Senior Content and Communications Partner

Purpose
The Senior Content and Communications Partner provides strategic and tactical editing, review, and communication refinement support to IHN HR directly and inadvertently thought client organizations. This role ensures that all written materials are clear, professional, aligned with organizational values, and reflective of strong leadership and workplace integrity. The focus is on strengthening, refining, and elevating existing content rather than serving as the primary content creator.

Services are delivered under two categories: Strategic Content Advisory and Content Editing and Refinement.

 

Strategic Content Advisory

  • Advise leadership on communication clarity, tone, and alignment with organizational goals
  • Review executive messaging and provide practical recommendations for improvement
  • Provide guidance on sensitive communications, including workforce reductions, investigations, and leadership transitions
  • Support the development and consistency of organizational voice across all levels of communication
  • Align written communication with faith-driven principles and workplace culture
  • Offer editorial perspective on long-form content such as books, guides, and thought leadership materials

 

Content Editing and Refinement

HR and Organizational Communications

  • Edit and refine employee communications, announcements, and leadership messages
  • Strengthen communication related to organizational changes, including restructuring and workforce transitions
  • Ensure clarity, tone, and professionalism in all HR related documentation

Policy, Reports, and HR Documentation

  • Edit and enhance HR Assessments, reports, and client deliverables
  • Review employee handbooks, policies, and procedures for clarity, consistency, and usability
  • Ensure all documentation reflects professional standards and aligns with organizational messaging

Recruitment and Employer Branding Content

  • Edit and refine job postings and recruitment messaging
  • Strengthen candidate-facing communication for clarity and alignment
  • Ensure messaging accurately reflects organizational culture and mission

Leadership and External Content

  • Edit website content, blog posts, and leadership articles for clarity and effectiveness
  • Refine faith-driven organizational messaging for external audiences
  • Ensure consistency across all outward-facing communication

Publish and Long Form Content Support

  • Provide editorial review for books, guides, and long-form material
  • Offer chapter-by-chapter manuscript editing and structured feedback
  • Strengthen overall flow, clarity, and readability

Coaching and Editorial Support

  • Provide direct editorial feedback to executives and leaders on written materials
  • Strengthen personal and professional communications such as speeches, articles, and essays
  • Guide clients in improving clarity, tone, and effectiveness in their writing

Communication and Collaboration

  •  Collaborate directly with client leadership and HR teams, participate in meetings as needed, and provide timely edits and feedback. All communication is handled with professionalism, discretion, and a high level of accountability.

All work is conducted with strict confidentiality, particularly when supporting sensitive organizational matters such as employee relations, investigations, and leadership communications.
