Job Title: Pathways Resident Manager
Program/Department: The Pathways Center
Reports to: Director of Pathways
FLSA Status: Part-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
Supervisory Responsibility: None
Work Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays 10:00 AM-6:00 PM, every other weekend (16 hours per weekend).
Pay Rate: $16.00/Hour

Position Summary: The Pathways Resident Manager oversees the Pathways Center on nights, weekends, and/or holidays, to including the supervision of residents, activities, and property.

Essential Functions:
Supervise residents during assigned shifts while promoting a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
Monitor the safety and security of the shelter, residents, staff, volunteers, and visitors.
Conduct routine walkthroughs of the facility and grounds to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with shelter policies.
Enforce shelter rules, policies, and procedures consistently and respectfully.
Respond promptly and professionally to resident concerns, conflicts, behavioral issues, and emergencies using trauma-informed and de-escalation techniques.
Complete shift reports, incident reports, maintenance requests, and other required documentation accurately and before the end of each shift.
Communicate significant resident concerns, incidents, and facility issues to the Shelter Director and Case Management staff.
Assist with meal service, donations, inventory, and other daily shelter operations as assigned.
Welcome and assist volunteers, community partners, and visitors while ensuring compliance with agency policies.
Maintain resident confidentiality and uphold ethical and professional standards at all times.
Follow all agency safety procedures, including fire, medical, severe weather, and emergency response protocols.
Provide accurate information about shelter services, community resources, and agency programs within the scope of the position.
Refer callers to appropriate community agencies and resources when services are unavailable or outside of the shelter’s scope.
Other Functions:
Accept donations to Pathways.
Clean the Manager’s Apartment prior to going off duty.
Other duties as the Director of Pathways may deem necessary.

Equipment Used:
Telephone, computer, copier, fax, vacuum cleaner.
Working Conditions:
Indoor shelter environment.
General office environment and exposure to computer screens.
Requirements
Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in the human services field preferred.
Other Requirements:
Speaking, standing, sitting, walking, writing, problem solving, carrying, reaching, lifting, bending, pushing/pulling, squatting, and patience.
Key Competencies:
Organization and customer service skills.
