About ACC Moreton
Our Moreton campus is a growing Christian P-12 school with over 1100 students on campus and over 1,200 distance education students across Queensland and internationally.
The school is located in Caboolture about 50km north of Brisbane and 50km south of the Sunshine Coast and our staff live all the way from northern Brisbane suburbs to the Sunshine Coast.
About the Role
ACC is seeking enthusiastic, skilled and versatile Instrumental Music Teachers to join our growing Music Department and help establish our new Year 5 Band and Year 3 String Programs.
We are particularly interested in multi-instrumental educators who are confident teaching across one or more of the following areas:
Woodwind: Flute, Clarinet and Saxophone – Year 5 Band
Brass: Trumpet and Trombone – Year 5 Band
Strings: Cello – Year 3 String Program
This is an exciting opportunity for passionate instrumental educators who enjoy working collaboratively and would like to play an active role in building and shaping a developing instrumental music program.
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
Willingness and ability to teach beginner violin and cello in a group setting as part of a team of two tutors. Candidates without prior experience are encouraged to apply if they have a strong desire to learn and develop their skills.
A passion for inspiring young musicians.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
We offer attractive and competitive pay rates in line with QMTA recommendations, including hourly payment for ensemble conducting and superannuation contributions.
Enthusiastic and dedicated teachers will have the opportunity to grow the Instrumental music program into a multi-day role (up to 5 days per week) as student participation increases.
