Housekeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Christian Care – Cottonwood Campus, a senior living community. In this essential role, you will help ensure our senior residents enjoy a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. You’ll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in resident apartments and common areas while upholding the highest standards of sanitation, safety, and professionalism.
This is a PRN position, working one day, approximately 4 hours per week, offering flexible hours based on the needs of the residents and your availability.
Responsibilities
Clean resident apartments, common areas, and restrooms following established procedures
Operate and maintain housekeeping equipment, including vacuums and floor care tools
Assist with light building cleaning, laundry duties, and trash removal
Maintain clean and orderly outside entryways
Follow daily task lists and report maintenance issues as needed
Handle cleaning chemicals safely and effectively
Communicate courteously with residents, staff, and visitors
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Must be able to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
Previous housekeeping experience in a facility setting preferred
Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
Able to read and understand written instructions and policies in English
Must pass a drug screening and have a current TB test (or obtain one prior to hire)
Must be willing to complete additional training as offered
