We have an exciting opportunity for a Part time and Full time CHHA Hospice Aides to provide personal care and support hospice patients while maintaining their dignity and quality of life.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Provide services which will consist of but are not limited to personal care of the patient, such as assisting patient:
With care of mouth, skin, hair and bath or shower.
To the bathroom or in using bedpan.
In and out of bed and with ambulation.
Assist with prescribed exercises.
With medication that can be self-administered under specific written orders from the physician.
Performing household services as are essential to the patient’s health.
With re-learning household skills.
With eating, preparing meals, including special diet for the patient.
By reporting changes in the patient’s condition to the nurse.
Requirements:
Must be a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) in the State of New Jersey.
Hospice experience preferred, not required.
Team player.
Must be a minimum of 18 years old.
Must be a driver with own vehicle.
