Cafeteria employees enable Church employees and temple patrons to focus on their
most important work of bringing souls unto Jesus Christ by providing food
services in a simple and affordable way.

This position exists to provide clean and sanitized dishes and cookware for the
cafeteria and/or assist with other routine tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Cleans and sanitizes dishes, cookware, or other kitchen supplies or
facilities. 
* Operates dishwasher or hand washes to clean dishes, silverware, glassware,
and pots and pans. 
* May organize and distribute cleaned and dried items. 
* May clean other areas in the cafeteria. 
* May be assigned to another routine task. 
* Appropriately disposes of trash, including cooked or raw food items.

Refers complex issues to higher-level staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

* High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 
* Must be able to understand and follow directions in English. 
* Able to work well with other team members. 
* Able to lift/move objects up to 40lbs. Able to do fast, repetitive motions,
and stand for long periods of time. 
* Able to work in wet conditions and in varied temperatures. Courtesy when
dealing with others. 
* Ability to obtain food handler’s permit.
