Diagnostic Automotive Technician / Mechanic

Job Overview:
We are looking for a Diagnostic Technician/mechanic who is energetic, upbeat, and has a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for must seek out solutions to tough problems and have a strong passion for doing what’s right for our guests.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our guests
Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively
Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate concerns
Work together with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results
Qualifications
Qualifications:
3-5+ years of experience accurately diagnosing and repairing a wide range of domestic and foreign makes and models.
Strong technician expertise across major vehicle systems, including engine performance, transmissions, ABS/Braking, and advanced HVAC systems
ASE Certifications (or Master Technician status preferred), or a demonstrated track record and plan to achieve
Meet or exceed 40-50 flag hours per week
Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
Professional appearance and strong communication
A desire for long-term career development
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record, and the ability to operate manual transmission vehicles.
Physical Requirements:
Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair
Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
Drive manual transmissions vehicles
Efficiently navigate a computer
