Southeast Christian Church
The Community Sports Associate will oversee, develop and execute the sports programming for both youth and adults within the Sports and Fitness Ministry at our Southwest Campus. This role will manage community leagues for Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Volleyball, Soccer and Pickleball. They will help to pastor, equip and develop volunteer leaders to do the work of ministry while maintaining alignment with the mission and mantras of Southeast Christian Church.
What You Will Be Doing:
* Oversee sports programing for the Sports and Fitness Ministry.
* Recruit, train, lead and disciple volunteer leaders and coaches.
* Build relationships and identify opportunities to connect and minister to others.
* Oversee the staffing of leagues.
* Manage league administration including: promotion, marketing, registration, evaluations and game schedules/calendar.
* Oversee the budget for all sports programing including ordering supplies and maintaining equipment.
* Oversee game day set-up/tear down.
* Responsible for recruiting, training and scheduling of concession stand volunteers.

Our Requirements:
* A Bachelor’s degree.
* Heart for ministry and shepherding others.
* Sports/Recreation experience preferred.
* Ministry experience preferred.
* Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church, or willing to become one.
