Ministry: Center 4 Hope

Role Title: Executive Director

Reports to: Board of Directors and Senior Pastor of Hope Church

Role Overview: The Executive Director serves as the chief executive officer of Center 4 Hope and is responsible for advancing the mission, vision, and long-term sustainability of the organization. The Executive Director provides strategic leadership, oversees daily operations, develops staff and volunteers, cultivates financial resources, builds community partnerships, and ensures the effective execution of organizational priorities. The Executive Director is expected to lead in a manner consistent with the Christian faith and values that form the foundation of Center 4 Hope’s ministry.

Our Mission: We exist to ensure every person in our community can obtain the basic needs of life with dignity and respect. By providing healthy food and connections to available community resources, the Center 4 Hope moves people from crisis to thriving by giving help for today and hope for the future.

Position Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
Collaborate with the Board of Directors to establish and implement strategic priorities.
Identify opportunities to expand programs, partnerships, and community impact.
Promote and uphold the mission, vision, and values of Center 4 Hope.
Recommend initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness and sustainability.
Ensure initiatives reflect dignity, compassion, and Christ-centered love.
Organizational Management
Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Maintain effective systems, records, and processes that support the work of the organization.
Ensure organizational goals, projects, and commitments are completed in a timely manner.
Provide leadership that fosters accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Fundraising and Resource Development
Lead fundraising, grant development, donor stewardship, and community engagement activities.
Develop and maintain relationships with foundations, donors, sponsors, and community partners.
Support long-term financial sustainability through effective resource development strategies.
Ensure timely reporting and stewardship of grant and donor commitments.
Staff and Volunteer Leadership
Recruit, develop, supervise, and support staff and volunteer leaders.
Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and Christian compassion
Ensure volunteers receive appropriate training, support, and recognition.
Conduct performance management activities consistent with organizational policies.
Community and External Relations
Serve as the primary public representative of Center 4 Hope.
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with community organizations, churches, and stakeholders.
Promote awareness of the organization’s mission, programs, and impact.
Represent Center 4 Hope at community events and partnership meetings.
Board Relations
Maintain regular communication with the Board of Directors.
Provide reports regarding organizational outcomes, finances, fundraising activities, and strategic initiatives.
Support Board planning, governance, and decision-making processes.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated leadership experience in nonprofit, ministry, healthcare, community service, or a related field.
Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Experience in fundraising, grant management, or donor relations preferred.
Ability to lead staff, volunteers, and collaborative partnerships effectively.
A passion for advancing the Christ-centered mission of Center 4 Hope.

Position Details:
Full-Time, Exempt
Salary range $65k – $78k (depending on experience)
Paid time off including vacation, sick, and holiday time

Please Note: Center 4 Hope is an independent nonprofit organization and a separate 501(c)(3) from Hope Church. While Center 4 Hope is located within Hope Church’s building and we enjoy a close partnership in serving our community, this position is employed by Center 4 Hope. The selected candidate will be an employee of Center 4 Hope, not Hope Church.
