About your Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Canteen Assistant to join our team, to assist with our brand-new staff café space. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate at interview a personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with that faith, including an active commitment to a Christian fellowship, as well as the following skills and experience:
Key Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional, warm customer service to our school community.
Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic café area.
Handle POS transactions accurately.
Assist with light food service or restocking as needed.
Assist in the school canteen with student orders, as required.
Key Selection Criteria
Experience working in a school canteen environment.
The ability to work quickly under pressure during busy morning rushes.
Friendly, energetic, and professional with great communication skills.
Punctual and committed to maintaining a consistent service schedule.
Food handling certificate and barista training (preferred).
