Job DetailsJob Location: Christs Church Academy – Jacksonville, FL 32258Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: DayJob Category: Admin – ClericalRole Overview & Scope The Campus Life & Admissions Assistant is a key member of Christ’s Church Ministries, helping to advance Christ’s Church Academy’s mission to make disciples (Matt. 28:18), better disciples (Acts 2:42), and more disciples (Mark 16:15) through excellence in academics, athletics, and the arts. This position provides essential administrative and operational support to the Director of Campus Life and the Director of Admissions. The Campus Life & Admissions Assistant plays a meaningful role in supporting CCA’s admissions process, student life programming, volunteer coordination, events, and communications — contributing to a Christ-centered campus culture that is welcoming, organized, and mission-aligned. Responsibilities & Tasks People • Receives primary direction from the Director of Campus Life regarding the prioritization of duties and responsibilities. • Provides day-to-day administrative support to the Director of Admissions, assisting with admissions testing, record-keeping, and related processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with the school’s standards of excellence. • Works as a positive team player, collaborating with the Campus Life and Admissions teams to support student life programming, enrollment initiatives, and school events. • Volunteers: Oversees the screening, approval, and communication process for CCA volunteers, ensuring alignment with school policies and safety standards. Manages the onboarding experience, providing clear guidance and instructions to volunteers. Maintains an up-to-date record of approved volunteers, ensuring that information is easily accessible to staff for coordination and engagement. Additionally, provides support for the volunteer application and approval process between the church and school. • Follow the Matthew 18 principle in navigating conflict with students, parents, faculty, and/or administration. Campus Life Support • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of major student life events, including but not limited to Homecoming, Prom, Grad Bash, Mini-Mester trips, pep rallies, and other campus traditions. • Assist with event logistics including setup, teardown, scheduling, and supervision. • Collaborate with the Director of Campus Life and other staff to ensure events run smoothly and reflect the mission and culture of CCA. • Assist with spirit wear coordination through BSN or other designated vendors. Support school spirit and student engagement initiatives as directed. Admissions Support • Assist with admissions testing preparation and sessions. • Create and manage new student applicant files. • Assist with importing applications and enrollment packets into FACTS and other designated systems. • Provide “first impressions” support to prospective families during campus visits, open houses, and admissions events. • Assist with new family onboarding to ensure a welcoming and well-organized experience. • Support data management by maintaining accurate admissions records and assisting with enrollment reporting. • Serves as CCA Registrar – maintains cumulative folders for current students and creates folders when new students are enrolled. Communications & General Support • Assist with social media posting as needed to support admissions and campus life storytelling. • Assist in acknowledging and thanking donors and supporters as directed. • Provide general administrative and event support during busy seasons. • Support the broader school community by attending extracurricular events when possible QualificationsEssential Skills • Commitment to Christian Education and a Servant’s Heart to serve the church and school community. • Time Management: Must have the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities across campus life and admissions functions. • Organization: Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to create and maintain efficient processes, manage files, coordinate schedules, and oversee various functions with attention to detail and accuracy. • Initiative: Takes initiative to make things happen and get things accomplished without waiting to be directed. • Personable: Should be very personable and easy to talk to since this individual will interact with many constituent groups both internal and external to the school. • Passion: Must be passionate about independent Christian school education and the mission of CCA. • Partners with Volunteers: Serves as a partner for stakeholders who want to contribute to the school’s overall impact, creating opportunity for them to share their time and talents in a meaningful way. • Positive appearance, attitude, and presentation with a strict sense of confidentiality in all areas including but not limited to matters relating to students, parents, faculty, the school, and all personal information. • Work effectively with colleagues by practicing good attendance and punctuality, respect for deadlines, collaborative problem-solving, and honest communication. • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to interact courteously and effectively with students, parents, faculty, and staff. Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Previous experience in administrative support roles preferred, especially in an educational setting. Systems • Solid working knowledge of Word, Excel, Internet, and industry-specific educational software. • Utilizes the designated tools and applications in FACTS/Renweb to perform all essential functions required. • Utilizes Office 365 products, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Physical Requirements • Ability to frequently stand, walk, and sit. • Ability to occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. • Ability to occasionally reach below knees, waist to knee, waist to chest, chest to shoulders, and above shoulders. • Ability to occasionally pull, lift, carry, and push 30 pounds. Working Conditions and Environment • Work is routinely performed in a typical school and business office environment. • Very limited or no exposure to physical risk
