This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys analysing complex issues, working across a wide range of stakeholders, and contributing to policy and operational work that makes a real difference. Provide high-quality advice and analysis to support decision-making and contribute to the delivery of Government and Ministry priorities. Manage a diverse portfolio of work with competing deadlines, ensuring high-quality outputs are delivered on time and to agreed standards. Collaborate across teams and stakeholders to contribute to key projects, work programmes, and Ministry-wide initiatives. Build trusted relationships and apply your understanding of the machinery of government to support effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders. Drive continuous improvement by contributing to better processes, tools, frameworks, and ways of working, while ensuring all work reflects Te Tiriti o Waitangi obligations and a commitment to equity. Ko ngā pūkenga ōu – What you’ll bring A relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent experience, with strong analytical, research and problem-solving capability. Sound judgement and critical thinking skills, with the ability to develop options and provide high-quality advice. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences. Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to deliver results in complex environments while managing competing priorities and navigating the machinery of government.
