Oversee and execute course planning, student scheduling, registration operations, academic record processes, and operational support for assigned graduate programs. Course planning and faculty forecasting Determine section needs and sizes for graduate courses each session Manages communication with graduate program directors and the Graduate Registration Operations manager regarding faculty needs/assignments Student scheduling & registration execution Manages scheduling and registration for students Student record support Processes documentation for Academic Exceptions, Suspension Appeals, Waiver forms, Course and University Withdrawals Process end-of-session responsibilities such as Low grades, Probation, Suspension, and Dismissal Processes other documentation as needed for the permanent student record Cross-Functional Collaboration Serves as a primary liaison between academic departments and administrative offices to facilitate student progression, scheduling, and registration operations. Supports student persistence and progression through proactive management of registration, academic standing, and enrollment-related processes. Academic Program Implementation and Operational Support Supports the development and implementation of new academic programs, certificates, and concentrations. Collaborates with academic leadership to operationalize curriculum changes and new program offerings. Assists with program setup, course sequencing, scheduling structures, and student enrollment processes. Coordinates with university stakeholders to ensure successful program launches and ongoing operational support. Assists with additional operational responsibilities and special projects as deemed appropriate to support departmental needs Professional Development Requirements Skills Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and enrollment management systems (i.e. Banner, Workday, Salesforce, etc.) Demonstrable experience from successfully working in a team environment Some evening and weekend hours may be required Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task effectively Excellent analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, customer service, attention to detail and communication skills are essential Ability to handle complex and confidential information with discretion Training Required Banner Workday Salesforce Canvas LMS Softdocs Qualifications Professional Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution Minimum of two years of administrative or operational experience required. Experience in student records, registration, registrar operations, admissions, or academic administration within a higher education environment preferred. Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and exercise sound judgment when handling complex student and academic matters. Personal Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments and with diverse stakeholders. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively engage a diverse academic community. Commitment to serving students and supporting the mission and values of the university. Physical Requirements Work is performed in a remote and/or office environment and requires the ability to remain seated and work at a computer for extended periods of time (6–8 hours). Must be able to effectively perform work using a computer, telephone, headset, and other standard office technology. Must be able to operate standard office equipment and technology.
